The Town of Orono maintains various financial documents for the public to view.  Below you will find annual reports, audit reports, budget documents, and monthly financial statements.

The Town is in the process of developing the budget for FY2019-2020. Over the course of the next few months, the public will have several opportunities to review the budget and provide public input. In addition to being available on this page, residents will have the opportunity to review the budget at the Town Office. All meetings on the proposed FY19-20 budget will be held in the Council Chambers, 59 Main Street.

Council Budget Workshops are being held throughout May and June. The date and times are:

Thursday, May 23, 2019 6:00 p.m. – Council Budget Workshop (Public Infrastructure (Public Works and WPCF)
Thursday, May 30, 2019 6:00 p.m. – Council Budget Workshop (Public Safety Police and Fire)
Monday, June 3, 2019 6:00 p.m. - Council Budget Workshop (Council Review) NEW DATE
Thursday, June 6, 2019 6:00 p.m. – Council Budget Workshop (Council Review/Discussion)
Monday, June 10, 2019 7:00 p.m. – Council Chamber Council Meeting (Public Hearing on Budget)
Monday, June 17, 2019 6:00 p.m. – Budget Workshop (Pending Public Hearing Comments)
Monday, June 24, 2019 7:00 p.m. – Council Chamber Special Council Meeting (Budget Adoption)
 
The agendas and recordings will also be available and posted online. The Public Hearing on the Budget will be held on June 10, 2019 at 7:00 pm and the Budget Adoption will be on June 24, 2019 at 7:00 pm
